Odds

Formed in Vancouver, B.C. in late 1987 the “Odds” went on to record 16 chart topping singles and earn numerous Juno nominations. “Someone Who’s Cool” went to #1 in Canada and sat top 10 in the United States for several months. They twice achieved top 40 success in Europe and the US. Their other top 10 triumphs included “Eat My Brain”, “Truth Untold”, “Make You Mad”, “Satisfied”, “Heterosexual Man”, “Nothing Beautiful” and “It Falls Apart”. Their 4 albums have so far netted them one Platinum and two Gold awards. Their catchy, tongue in cheek delivery was enhanced by the many memorable music videos that accompanied their hits – “the Kids in Hall” in drag for “Heterosexual Man”, the monster truck car chase with “Junkhouse” & “the Pursuit of Happiness” for “Eat My Brain” and the groundbreaking metamorphoses and stop-action of “Someone Who’s Cool”. Indeed these sights and songs spread around the world as “Odds” were embraced by the public, their peers and even Beavis and Butthead!
