Simon Fraser University School of Interactive Arts + Technology’s WeBlimp
Work together to fly an airship. With your friends, steer and navigate the
WeBlimp by a simple shift of your collective weight. The purpose of
this project is to explore the concept of crowd collaboration and
attempt to bridge the gap caused by the present-day disembodied relationship
of the remote control and device. WeBlimp is a new and exciting
interactive media project. Created by Brian Quan, Nathan Waddington, Andrew
Thong and Anna Wu.

During the weekdays experience Quilt Surrey. This activity is based on the Quilt of Belonging, a monumental textile art work on exhibit at the Surrey Art Gallery, that is being presented with Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad.

Celebrate the arrival of the 2010 Winter Olympics with a retrospective on the history of competitive winter sports. Find out when your favourite sport entered international competition, which countries led the way to gold, and how winter sports have changed since the first Winter Olympics in 1924.
This very special exhibit showcases famous Canadian athletes, including BC’s own Nancy Greene Raine, Ross Rebagliati and Gary Cormack.

The City of Surrey , an official partner of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games , will play host to the biggest games-time celebration south of the Fraser. The Surrey 2010 Celebration Site is a 13 day FREE winter festival featuring live entertainment, live Games broadcasts, arts performances and on-site activities.
